The Sales Executive at John Gowing Jewellers Ltd. will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales operations, and supporting the overall store environment. This role requires a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who can contribute to the team and help promote a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities



1. Customer Service:



Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere.

Assist customers in selecting jewellery pieces that meet their needs and preferences.

Offer product knowledge and advice, explaining features and benefits of various items.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

2. Sales:



Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team sales goals.

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.

Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance customer purchases.

Maintain an understanding of current promotions and sales events.

3. Store Operations:



Assist in the setup and maintenance of displays and showcases to ensure they are visually appealing.

Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to the store manager.

Participate in regular stock counts and inventory management tasks.

Ensure the store is clean, organized, and safe for both employees and customers.

4. Team Collaboration:



Work closely with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment.

Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

Provide assistance and support to colleagues during peak times and special events.

5. Administrative Duties:



Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions.

Assist in the preparation of sales reports and other documentation as needed.

Handle basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and email correspondence.

Qualifications:



High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the jewellery industry, is a plus.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Basic math skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as required.

Physical Requirements:



Ability to stand for extended periods.

Ability to perform tasks that involve repetitive motions, such as typing and handling small items.
