Position Overview
We're seeking a dynamic, on-the-ground Sales Executive to join our growing commercial team. Ideally based in or around London, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, uncovering new business opportunities, and closing deals. You'll play a pivotal role in driving ESA's UK sales pipeline, working across both new and existing markets including sports academies, schools, leisure centres, events, private facilities, and more.
This is a hybrid role involving proactive field sales, lead generation, and relationship management, with regular travel across the UK to meet clients, demo products, and represent ESA at events.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify, approach, and convert new sales opportunities across the UK as well as globally, with a focus on London and surrounding regions.
Develop relationships with key decision-makers in sports clubs, education, commercial leisure, and private sector markets.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting to pitching, quoting, and closing deals.
Proactively explore untapped sectors where ESA technology could offer value (e.g. esports, education, health & wellness, Hotels and arcades).
Client Engagement & Product Demos
Organise and lead in-person product demonstrations and presentations.
Attend meetings, site visits, and showcase events to engage prospects and build ESA's brand.
Act as a knowledgeable ambassador for ESA's product range, tailoring proposals to meet client needs and budgets.
Market Expansion & Strategy
Provide insights into emerging trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy.
Contribute to sales and marketing campaigns in collaboration with the wider team.
Support the development of sales collateral and lead follow-up processes.
Pipeline & CRM Management
Maintain accurate sales records in the CRM system, track KPIs, and report on sales performance.
Prioritise leads based on potential value, urgency, and alignment with ESA's growth strategy.
Qualifications
Required:
2+ years' experience in a sales, business development, or outreach role ideally in sports, tech, or education.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to lead face-to-face meetings and demos.
Self-motivated and proactive with a hunter mindset and the ability to work independently.
Own transport and willingness to travel regularly, including occasional overnight stays.
Based in London but willing to commute to the Head office in Poole when required.
Preferred:
International sale experience ideal but not essential
Familiarity with the sports performance, tech, or training equipment sectors.
Experience working with schools, sports clubs, or commercial leisure facilities.
Strong network within grassroots or elite football, education, or physical performance spaces.

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
