The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive
Sales Executive
to join our commercial team.
You'll be responsible for guiding prospects through the sales process, understanding their objectives, presenting the right options, following up consistently, and closing deals.
This role suits someone who enjoys relationship-led sales, clear communication, and seeing things through to completion, and who is comfortable taking ownership and working independently within a small team.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of warm sponsorship and partnership enquiries.
Seek out and develop new business opportunities, using a creative and inclusive approach to prospecting and outreach.
Run discovery calls to understand company goals, budgets, and decision-making processes.
Present and sell sponsorship, partnership, and membership options clearly and professionally.
Manage the full sales process from initial conversation to close.
Follow up consistently to maintain momentum and move deals forward.
Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, celebrating team and individual successes.
Share feedback on deal progress, objections, and what is resonating with the market.
What We're Looking For
Experience in account management and/or sponsorship sales, ideally within conferences, memberships, or related industries.
A proactive, opportunity-driven mindset, with a passion for building relationships and delivering results.
Confidence in communicating and negotiating with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior decision-makers.
Ability to identify, pursue, and action new business opportunities, while maintaining a strong focus on existing accounts.
Comfortable managing a pipeline and working towards revenue targets.
Adaptability and openness to new ideas, technologies, and ways of working.

Salary:
40,000-45,000 (circa) + 5% commission + bonus
This role is worked Monday to Friday. Part-time or flexible working hours can be considered.
