We're looking for a Retail Media superstar! A smart, ambitious, dynamic Sales Executive to join our London team.
How you'll make an impact
Your mission will be to create win/win outcomes by managing a key book of business across longtail brands for our Retail Media clients. You will navigate the retail media digital landscape with highly differentiated products & solutions to take to a curated list of suppliers.
This is a commercial role where your success will be based on platform demos provided, volume of meetings booked, presentations and platform demos provided and % of initial and repeat bookings.
You'll report to the Head of Demand for Epsilon Retail Media (ERM) and work closely with the wider Sales team, Customer Success and Marketing teams, along with key internal stakeholders and external customers.
This is a hybrid role based in London, 3 days per week in the office.
In a nutshell:
Drive revenue from retailer suppliers for Epsilon's retail media partners
Contribute to the wider Demand team hitting/succeeding the team target, and playing your part in ensuring Epsilon Retail Media is a key factor in the company's overall growth, and that ERM performs in-line with both revenue and broader business expectations
Build relationships with key stakeholders
Work to volume-based targets to drive success of our Longtail revenue stream
Become an internal and external expert in Epsilon's retail media advertising solutions: Offsite - Display, CTV, Video, Audio; Onsite display; Onsite sponsored products. Plus more as they are developed and launched (e.g. Social, in-store, loyalty)
Tell compelling stories with data. Ability to use data to inform strategy and drive revenue
What You'll Do
Drive revenue for Epsilon by methodically and consistently speaking to longtail brands and supplier of our retail media partners
Client centricity: Work to quickly learn and understand the landscape the client operates in, and conduct thorough research, to help address their needs in a way that is competitive, differentiated, and meaningful
Prospect for, engage with, negotiate and close business from longtail brands, using targeted, sequential outreach
Lead discovery sessions, competently pitching our GTM offering and providing platform demos for our onsite retail media platform
Handle objections and provide follow ups with supporting documentation including forecasts, benchmarks, 1pagers, decks
Support the longtail brands across our self-serve platform with optimization and reporting needs
Continually educate, guide and advise your clients on ERM solutions, ERM retailer partners and the broader landscape, with a client-centric approach, to help both win new and retain existing business
Account Manage any live opportunities to ensure full campaign success from launch to completion, and provide required post campaign support to client including reporting, always with a view to securing a rebooking
Look for unique and useful ways to increase bookings and grow revenue
Forecast for your Book of Business, providing clear revenue projections back to the business.
Support on events, conferences, agency roadshows, including outreach and content building
Who You Are
What you'll bring with you
:
+ Recent graduate, from within a suitable/related field e.g. Sales, Marketing, Media
+ 1-2 years' experience in a sales, marketing or client management role is beneficial, but not essential
+ Passionate about sales and eager to grow your career in a fast-paced environment
+ High self-motivation - able to identify opportunities, new business, and market gaps
+ Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
+ Very strong and reliable presenter, ability to talk to anyone with confidence and ease and simplify complex ideas both visually and verbally
+ Strong phone presence and experience with high-volume calling
+ Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
+ General business and strategic planning acumen
+ Solid quantitative background with an aptitude for analytic tools, sales & marketing platforms and selling techniques
+ Effective communication across multiple levels of an organization
+ Works well in a team/highly collaborative environment
+ Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint and Sales Management software
