You will be responsible for an existing portfolio of a customers who purchase natural ingredients; quickly building rapport and effectively maintaining relationships. You will be responsible for developing the accounts by cross selling our natural ingredients, providing quotations, and seeking new opportunities for growth. You will also be following up on inbound sales leads and developing new customer relationships, seeking new opportunities for growth in the market.
The successful candidate will have customer service at the forefront and be ready to join a collaborative team who work together to support the growth of the business.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Nurture and grow an existing client base while quickly building rapport through various digital channels.
Manage a busy inbound inbox with requests for customer quotations.
Develop new client relationships through inbound marketing leads.
Work with clients and other O&3 departments to resolve day-to-day queries.
Manage customer orders through to completion.
Liaise with other internal departments to support with pricing requests, client credit limits and technical queries.
Primarily desk based - but you may be required to attend face-face customer meetings, company events and Industry exhibitions.
Some foreign travel may be required to attend events and exhibitions.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
1 year sales experience in a B2B environment preferred but is not essential.
Business development experience in a B2B environment preferred but not essential.
Be confident, enthusiastic, and a friendly personality, with a proactive and can-do attitude.
Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks.
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong IT skills in Outlook & Microsoft Office, and previous experience with SAP would be an advantage but not essential.
Punctual with solid time-keeping.
