Nevill's & The Rug Shop TW is a specialist home interiors store in Tunbridge Wells, offering a curated selection of handmade rugs, sofas, chairs, lamps, and cushions. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service and expert guidance to help our customers find the perfect pieces for their homes.

As a small, growing business, we're looking for a friendly, confident, and motivated Sales Assistant to join our team. Whether you have retail experience or are eager to learn, if you enjoy speaking with customers and have a passion for home decor, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

Engage with Customers - Provide a welcoming experience, assisting customers in-store and online.

Help with Social Media - Support the creation of engaging posts, respond to messages, and assist in growing our online presence.

Sales & Product Advice - Understand customer needs and recommend suitable rugs, sofas, and home accessories.

Stock & Display Management - Assist in keeping the store well-presented and stocked with the latest products.

What We're Looking For

A people person - confident, well-spoken, and enjoys talking to customers. Someone with a keen interest in home interiors and great product presentation skills. A social media-savvy individual who can create engaging content and interact with customers online. A self-motivated team player who can take initiative in a small business environment. A full UK driving license holder (to visit customers if needed). Physically able to handle rugs and showroom work

What We Offer

Full-time position - five days a week (including Saturday). Working hours are 9.30 am to 6.10 pm. We are closed on Sunday. Competitive hourly rate + commission on sales - the more you sell, the more you earn! 25% staff discount on all products. 50 new joiner bonus after your first month.
