We are looking for someone with proven sales or account management experience, ideally within materials handling or industrial equipment, who enjoys building long-term relationships and spotting new business opportunities. If you're commercially aware, organised and confident working directly with customers, this could be a great next step in your career.
The role focuses on managing existing accounts, developing new business and promoting Windsor's full range of products and services. You'll work closely with customers, internal teams and our Business Development Executives to ensure a high level of service and strong sales performance.
The main day to day duties of a Sales Executive / Sales Manager (but not limited to) are:
Customers
Managing day to day customer relationships, including site visits and meetings.
Providing after-sales support and resolving customer queries promptly.
Preparing quotations, proposals and tenders.
Understanding customer requirements and communicating these internally.
Maintaining strong knowledge of customer sites, operations and future needs.
New Business Development
Proactively generating new business through structured prospecting.
Carrying out regular calls, door knocking and targeted activity.
Participating in quarterly blitz days to increase market presence.
Conducting ongoing territory reviews and tracking progress against targets.
Marketing and Lead Generation
Working closely with our BDE and marketing teams to support ongoing lead generation.
Contributing to local and national marketing campaigns.
Representing Windsor at exhibitions, open days and customer events.
Monitoring competitor activity and market trends.
Quoting and Tendering
Producing accurate quotations and tender submissions.
Liaising with manufacturers for technical and pricing information.
Following up all quotes and updating CRM records.
Reporting and Administration
Recording all sales activity and correspondence in Hubspot.
Submitting monthly sales reports, pipeline updates and forecasts.
Maintaining accurate customer and contract records.
Branch Support
Working closely with the Service Manager and branch team to support smooth operations.
Providing feedback on customer satisfaction, requirements and opportunities.
Maintaining a professional appearance and representing the Windsor brand.
Ensuring your company vehicle is kept to a high standard.
