About the Role

We're looking for an energetic and results-driven

Sales Manager

to help grow revenue and market share for

Hampton by Hilton Torquay

and our South Coast Hotels. You'll proactively source new business, develop strong client relationships, and represent our hotels locally and nationally. This role is perfect for someone passionate about hospitality sales and confident in building connections.

Key Responsibilities

Work with the Director of Sales to deliver an effective Sales & Marketing Plan. Identify, secure, and grow business across Meetings, Events, Corporate, Associations, Groups, and Incentives. Conduct telesales, business park visits, and weekly face-to-face appointments to meet targets. Cross-sell opportunities across the South Coast Hotels portfolio. Maintain market knowledge and prepare competitor analysis. Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and community activities. Build strong relationships with Hilton Worldwide Sales and key accounts. Use CRM effectively and produce weekly/monthly sales reports. Be on-site or in the Torquay area weekly for client meetings.

What We're Looking For

Hotel sales experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and results-driven. Strong relationship-building and organisational skills. Confident using Word, Excel, PowerPoint; CRM/PMS knowledge a plus. Ability to prioritise, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. Willingness to travel throughout the UK. Strong written and verbal English and eligibility to work in the UK.
