TGI Sport is a specialist sales organisation established with the aim to maximise advertising. sponsorship, and commercial opportunities on behalf of governing bodies and brands at major televised sporting events. As part of the TGI group of companies, we are a global sports marketing agency, and our clients include the Football Associations of England, Wales, the Scottish, Welsh and Italian Rugby Unions, and the Rugby Football League.

The key to our properties is television viewership--millions of eyeballs on any aspiring brand--which enables us to offer the very best opportunities within sports telecasts to major international brands.

We are looking for a

Sales Executive

to join our very successful and experienced sales team in London selling LED and virtual perimeter advertising at high profile national and international sporting events, primarily

Rugby Union

(Lions Tour, Autumn rugby Internationals),

Football

(England & Wales World Cup Qualifiers) and

Cricket

(The Ashes)

This is a high-level sales role - you will be required to manage and develop your own business leads through sales and marketing, pitching exclusive & cutting-edge advertising opportunities over the phone to senior executives at well-known brands, selling the benefits of involvement at major televised sporting events.

We are looking for candidates who have experience building a rapport quickly with clients, love selling over the phone, are very resilient, have a real passion for sport and love closing high value deals.

Responsibilities:



Carrying out industry research to target potential clients.

Managing and developing your own business leads through sales, market research and working closely with our research team.

Generating new and repeat business over the phone in a direct, dynamic and professional manner

Following the full sales lifecycle, from pitching and building rapport with CEO's/MD's through to negotiation and closing of deals

Working to meet targets in a competitive sales environment

Desired Experience:



6 months + b2b sales experience (business development) ideally within media, tech, conferences, sponsorship or recruitment.

A clear understanding and knowledge of brands and proven ability to speak to decision makers.

Confident telephone manner & excellent at building rapport.

A pro-active, tenacious and positive working attitude

Ability to work under pressure and to sales deadlines

Thrive when negotiating, a quick & creative thinker and a confident closer.

Very motivated to succeed & hit sales targets

You will be rewarded with fantastic commission (uncapped) and a basic of up to 35k depending on experience. Realistic OTE is 45k- 50k in year 1. Year 2-3 80k. Year 4 + 100+ And lots of sales incentives including VIP access to international matches.
