The day-to-day function of this role will include responsibilities for identifying, contacting, and nurturing new business prospects. You'll do this through proactively outreaching to business prospects, using your role to establish interest in Big Energy Group's energy procurement services and solutions.
In order to do well in this role, you will need to be able to build and cultivate strong working relationships with business decision makers. This role would therefore suit a confident, resilient and self-motivated individual that thrives on developing new business opportunities over the phone.
Responsibilities
Proactively cold call potential clients to explain the benefits of using Big Energy Group's services and solutions, using role to override client objections and transform them into tangible business opportunities.
Collect client information during the sales qualification process, including but not limited to current contract end date, current supplier information and current consumption data.
Book appointments and qualify sales opportunities for your closer, working with them to prepare tenders and negotiate optimal procurement contracts to improve client purchasing strategies.
Maintain an up-to-date CRM system by accurately managing your sales pipeline and inputting client interactions in order to support seamless account management and service delivery.
Adhere to internal and external sales compliances rules at all times, ensuring your business development activities and communications conform to RECCo's Third Patry Intermediary Code of Conduct requirements.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and market developments, sharing appropriate information with clients and colleagues on a regular basis or as appropriate.
Skills/ Experience
Proven telesales experience, preferably in a B2B environment
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
Strong IT skills (proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel)
Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets
Ability to manage your own workload and pipeline
Highly self-motivated and resilient, with a drive for success
