Job Description

Our client based in Lye is seeking a full time Technical Sales Person. Long term opportunities following a successful trial period.

Responsibilities of the Sales Person:

• Selling products and services to existing and new customers in the electronics, medical, aerospace, defence, IT and automotive sectors.
• Visiting customers across the UK, typically between one to three days per week, depending on customer requirements. Occasional nights away will be necessary \xe2\x80\x93 typically one night per month.
• Generating repeat business from existing customers.
• Providing technical advice to customers.
• Costing jobs and preparing quotations.
• Carrying out ESD testing and surveys at customer sites.

Requirements of the Technical Sales Person:

• Some knowledge of electronics or some experience of working in a technical setting would be an advantage but not essential.
• Relevant or transferable sales experience and/or be used to working in a field sales role.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Computer literate.

Pay Rate & Hours:

• Monday - Thursday 08:30am - 16:30pm, Friday 08:30am - 14:00pm.
• Between \xc2\xa325,000 - \xc2\xa335,000 depending on experience.
