Overview

We are seeking a talented Front End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of front-end development technologies and frameworks, with a keen eye for design and user experience. You will be responsible for creating engaging and responsive web applications that enhance user interaction and satisfaction.

Duties

Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing interfaces. Utilise frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js to build interactive features. Integrate with back-end services using RESTful APIs and Web services. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability. Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure functionality and performance. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes. Manage version control using Git or SVN, ensuring collaborative workflows. Work with project management tools like Jira or Trello to track progress and deliverables. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in front-end development.

Experience

Candidates should have a solid background in front-end development, including experience with:

Frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js. Server-side languages like PHP, Python, or Ruby on Rails. Database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Familiarity with Docker for containerisation and deployment. Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Understanding of SEO principles and responsive web design techniques. Experience with data visualisation libraries and tools is advantageous. Proficiency in wireframing tools for designing application layouts. Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on system architecture and OOP principles.
