Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive

Credit Controller / Bookkeeper

to join our team in Swinton. This is a key role within our accounts function, responsible for maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting the continued growth of the business.

You will be the go-to person for managing outstanding balances, reducing aged debt, and building strong, trust-based relationships with our clients. This role requires a professional, organised, and solution-focused individual with a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

Managing customer accounts and monitoring outstanding balances Chasing overdue payments and reducing aged debt Maintaining accurate financial records and bookkeeping tasks Assessing and managing credit risk Resolving payment queries professionally and efficiently Liaising with customers to maintain positive working relationships Supporting the wider accounts department as required
About You

Experience is preferred but not necessary in credit control and/or bookkeeping Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-focused Professional, courteous, and customer-focused Confident communicator with the ability to handle payment discussions tactfully Able to work independently and as part of a team
