Butler Rose is delighted to be supporting a valued client based in Buckingham as they look to recruit a
Sales Ledger / Finance Assistant
to join their supportive and friendly team. This is a long-term FTC position until December 2026 (minimum) offering variety, purpose, and the opportunity to really make a difference.
Working in a unique environment, this role goes beyond a typical credit control position -- you'll be supporting individuals with queries relating to their accounts ensuring accuracy, empathy, and professionalism in every interaction.
Main Duties:
Be the first point of contact customers regarding invoices, payments, and funding
Raise and manage invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Process and allocate incoming payments
Investigate and resolve queries with sensitivity and attention to detail
Liaise with internal teams to keep records up to date
Reconcile incoming payments and disbursements
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in sales ledger, credit control, or finance administration
Great communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Strong Excel and general IT skills
A detail-orientated mindset and the ability to solve problems independently
Excellent time management and organisational skills
