About the Role

Leisure World is recruiting an experienced and motivated

Sales Manager

to lead our Caravan and Motorhome Sales operation at our Catterick branch. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven manager to work in the leisure industry, representing premium UK and European manufacturers and helping customers invest in exceptional lifestyle products.

You will be responsible for leading the sales team, driving performance, and delivering an outstanding customer experience in a high-value retail environment.

Key Management Responsibilities

Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets Deliver structured training and ongoing performance development Set and monitor sales objectives and KPIs Build strong, long-term relationships with both customers and colleagues Uphold company policies, standards, and professional discipline Maintain a positive, high-performance sales culture
As Sales Manager, you will remain actively involved in front-line sales, contributing directly to departmental results.

Sales Responsibilities

Engage customers in a consultative and professional manner Identify customer needs and lifestyle aspirations Conduct confident, informative product demonstrations Manage the full sales journey from enquiry through to handover Promote relevant additional products and services Complete all sales documentation accurately and efficiently Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the process Enhance showroom and forecourt presentation to maximise impact
You will work both indoors and outdoors, often supporting customers making significant purchasing decisions of up to 200,000.

Working Pattern

This is a five-day working week that includes regular weekend working. Typical rota examples include:

Week One:

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (Wednesday/Thursday off)

Week Two:

Monday to Friday (Saturday/Sunday off)

Where operationally possible, we aim to accommodate

one full weekend off per month

as part of the rota.

Weekend and Bank Holiday working is essential, along with attendance at major industry events such as national exhibitions (e.g. NEC Show, Birmingham).

Flexibility is required, as management hours will vary to ensure effective leadership and achievement of departmental targets.
