t.i.m. Commercial Trucks is a well-established, family-run business in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, as a driven and ambitious Sales Manager you will develop, grow & lead our commercial truck business to new heights.

What You'll Be Doing:
Lead & Manage Sales
Drive sales of Isuzu trucks and any other commercial vehicles as directed.
Take full ownership of the 'sales pipeline', from lead generation to closing deals.
Meet and exceed sales targets, ensuring outstanding customer service along the way.
Ensure compliance with all quality assurance standards.
New Business Development
Identify and develop new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
Conduct in-depth consultations with potential clients, understanding their transportation needs and budgets.
Present and demonstrate truck capabilities, specifications, and benefits tailored to each client's needs.
Support the Group Marketing Team with insight, content and opportunities for Social Media posts, adhering to Brand Guidelines along with utilising simple Content Management Systems (CMS) to populate accurate and timely updating the any business-related website(s)
Create and post appropriate, timely and effective posts for Trade publications to advertise vehicle sales opportunities to a wide-reaching audience.
Create, manage and distribute customer records to the Group Marketing Office and utilise the Groups mail systems to communicate offers, opportunities and customer care messaging on going.
Negotiate pricing, financing options, and contract terms to secure profitable sales.
Account Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients & colleagues, providing ongoing support.
Identify and maximize upselling opportunities with current customers.
Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and new truck models to provide expert advice.
Sales Administration & Logistics
Process orders, quotations, and sales invoices with accuracy.
Register vehicles and update DVLA & DVSA records.
Manage stock records and availability updates.
Organise vehicle deployment, bodybuilder coordination, and delivery logistics.
Handle paperwork and order tracking with Isuzu and other key partners.
Attend monthly senior management meetings with historical performance reviews (preceding month) along with forward focussing plans and aspirations based on the Measure, Manage & Perform rationale.
What We're Looking For:
Proven sales experience (2+ years) in commercial vehicle sales or a related field.
Strong communication skills - able to inspire and drive a high-performing sales pipeline.
Strategic thinker & deal closer - confident in negotiating and securing profitable deals.
Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
Strong market knowledge of commercial trucks, including all Isuzu models.
Proficiency in CRM systems, order processing, and administration.
Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
