As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a

Sales Manager

to join our

South West region

, covering Devon and Cornwall.

The Role

As Sales Manager, you will be a confident, self-motivated individual and a key member of the Sales Team in our South West region. You will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales performance across multiple development sites.

This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales, team management, and a strong understanding of the housebuilding industry. You will work closely with site-based sales teams to achieve sales targets, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure seamless operations.

This role is primarily

site-based

, with occasional Head Office duties. A flexible approach is required to enable a hands-on leadership style and support peak team performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets Monitor and analyse sales performance across development sites, providing regular reports to senior management Lead, motivate, and manage site-based Sales Executives to ensure high performance and engagement Maintain and update Group IT systems, including daily lead management and database administration Provide daily sales and exchange reporting to the Sales Director
Team Management

Recruit, train, and develop sales staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence Conduct regular performance reviews, setting clear objectives and providing feedback and coaching Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations Create staffing rotas, ensuring holidays, sickness, and other absences are suitably covered Address and manage underperformance in line with Group policies
Customer Engagement

Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process Handle complex customer queries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and effectively Maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners to enhance reputation and sales opportunities
Sales Operations

Oversee the preparation and presentation of show homes, marketing suites, and sales materials Manage the sales administration process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional campaigns and events to drive traffic and sales
Market Analysis

Conduct market research to remain informed of industry trends, competitor activity, and local market conditions Identify new opportunities for growth within the region Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making

Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience in a sales management role within the housebuilding or real estate industry Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred) Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets In-depth knowledge of the housebuilding industry and market dynamics Proficient in MS Office Highly motivated and results-oriented Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong negotiation and persuasion skills Knowledge of COINS (advantageous) Ability to embrace and role model our company values:
