Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and overseeing daily sales operations. Duties



Sales Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives to drive revenue growth.

Industry Networking:

Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events to build brand presence and generate leads when required.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Marketing, Procurement, and Finance to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and success.

Performance Management:

Set clear KPIs, monitor team performance, and provide coaching and feedback.

Pipeline & Forecasting:

Manage the sales pipeline, ensure accurate sales forecasting, and collaborate with supply chain for demand planning.

Customer Relationship Management:

Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and actively pursue new business opportunities, including key accounts and strategic partners.

Joint Business Planning:

Collaborate with key accounts on promotional strategies, pricing, and volume forecasts to drive mutual growth.

Compliance:

Ensure all sales activities comply with food safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., HACCP, BRC) and collaborate with the technical department for compliance.

Budget Oversight:

Manage the sales budget effectively to optimise resources and ROI.

Reporting:

Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and KPIs.

Channel Development:

Drive growth across multiple channels including wholesale

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field the food and beverage industry is advantageous. Previous experience in customer service or phone etiquette is advantageous. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities. In-depth knowledge of the food and beverage market and industry trends. Ability to travel for client meetings and industry events when required.

Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year
