About the role:



We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead our Internal Sales Development team and provide the day-to-day management and strategic oversight of the pre-sales, account management, migration and recruitment teams in Hastings.

This role is critical in driving new business opportunities, optimising outbound prospecting strategies, and ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven ability to coach, mentor, and inspire. The candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with a proven track record of building productive teams and maintaining a well-functioning work environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with reporting and HR requirements while fostering a culture of growth and development.

Key Responsibilities



Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SDRs to achieve and exceed performance targets. Design and implement effective outbound prospecting strategies to generate qualified leads. Monitor and analyse SDR performance metrics, providing actionable insights and improvement plans. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance prospecting, objection handling, and qualification skills. Ensure efficient use of CRM tools and sales engagement platforms to track activity and results. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the Hastings office. HR responsibility for performance and absence management across the Hastings office.

Qualifications



5+ years of experience in sales development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing SDR teams. Strong understanding of outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline management. Excellent coaching, communication, and motivational skills. Experienced in people management and HR compliance. Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM and sales engagement tools Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
