We are looking for a driven and strategic Sales Manager to lead its sales operations during an exciting growth phase. This role is aimed solely for someone with industry experience who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and is passionate about scaling a business. You'll manage the full sales cycle, develop new opportunities, and help build a high-performing sales department.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy with the Managing Director.
Manage the full enquiry-to-order process including site surveys, estimating, quoting, and follow-ups.
Train and manage junior sales staff as the team grows.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets.
Set and monitor KPIs and performance metrics.
Collaborate across departments to improve customer experience.
Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
Experience
First and foremost, experience within the glass industrial, especially in the commercial market.
Knowledge of glass products, fabrication, or installation.
Strong track record of achieving sales targets.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
Proficient in CRM systems and data-driven sales management.
Comfortable in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings.
