Duties & Responsibilities
Achieve sales and margin targets for Myers Building and Timber Supplies.
Develop and execute strategies to retain and grow key accounts.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, converting prospects into long-term customers.
Build strong relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Use relevant market intelligence (MI) to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Collaborate with other Sales Managers across the group to maximise cross-company sales opportunities.
Work closely with the Sales Strategy Manager to align key account plans and new business initiatives with overall group strategy.
Ensure all customer interactions reflect the Myers Group values of service excellence and product quality.
Monitor and report on progress against key accounts and new business development plans.
Attend meetings and contribute to discussions on sales strategy and performance.
Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the Company.
Skills & Attributes
Proven experience in key account management and business development.
Strong strategic understanding of the building supplies industry.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
Highly organised with good time management.
IT literate and comfortable using data to inform decisions.
Flexible and proactive approach to achieving results.
