We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong drive for sales and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Sales Advisor, you will play a crucial role in engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that enhance their experience. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage time effectively while helping to advise our customers on the best upgrades and packages for their needs.
The role will include answering calls from customers enquiring about our product range or services and answering any technical questions. The role will also include email communications from our customer base, advising on the most appropriate upgrades for their needs and budget and either making a sale via email or booking the customer into the workshop. The role will also include ensuring that our in-person customers have the best experience possible whilst waiting with us and communicating with them clearly.
This role will also be responsible for direct contact with our trade network as well as expanding and growing our current global trade network.
Automotive knowledge and experience is preferred and technical training for our particular knowledge base can be trained for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
Communicate directly with our trade network to advise where required
Maintain an organised approach to managing customer inquiries and follow-ups.
Provide outstanding customer service by addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
Expand and grow our current trade network
Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive sales strategy is implemented.
Stay informed about product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
Utilise IT systems for tracking sales activities and managing customer relationships efficiently.
Experience
Proven experience in a sales or customer service role is preferred.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective engagement with customers.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
Ability to demonstrate organisational skills in managing multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
A background in automotive retail or similar environments would be advantageous but not essential.
