Right-NRG are a renewable energy installation start-up dedicated to empowering domestic homeowners across England and Wales with sustainable energy solutions and we are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join our team.
The Role
We're seeking a Sales Manager to support our Managing Director in creating, leading and growing a high-performing sales team. This is a crucial, hands-on role where you will be instrumental in helping us scale from 3 to 10 sales representatives by the end of the year. This is a perfect opportunity for a top-performing salesperson to gain leadership experience and fast-track their career. You will be a vital second-in-command, working closely with the Managing Director to execute the sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Team Support & Growth: Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of new sales representatives to achieve our target of 10 reps by the year-end. You'll provide support, coaching, and mentorship to the team alongside the managing director.
Customer Retention: Implement and manage a new customer onboarding process to ensure a customer retention rate of at least 80%.
Sales Opportunity Maximisation: Take ownership of following up with all 'lost opportunities'. Your goal will be to convert 10% of these into sales by understanding customer feedback and providing targeted coaching to the sales team.
Appointment Confirmation: Ensure all sales appointments are confirmed and ready for the sales team.
Direct Sales: Step in to cover any sales appointments that are unassigned on a given day. You must be highly skilled in selling in a B2C environment and comfortable with in-home, phone, and virtual sales.
Strategic Support: Act as a key support person for the Managing Director, providing insights and feedback to help lead the sales team effectively.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in a B2C sales role, with a strong track record of selling directly to customers in their homes.
A self-starter with a hunter mentality who is highly motivated to chase and win sales.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
A 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to be hands-on with direct sales.
A solid understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
A valid UK driving licence.
