Sales Manager
to drive commercial growth and deliver high-value automation projects.
You will manage customer relationships end-to-end, develop technically robust commercial proposals, and identify new business opportunities across pallet-based and/or tote-based automation solutions. The role involves close collaboration with internal design, project, and specialist teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage customer relationships throughout the full project lifecycle
Identify, qualify, and convert new sales opportunities
Lead commercial negotiations and proposal presentations
Work closely with solution designers to deliver tailored automation solutions
Manage CRM activity, order books, and internal project coordination
Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Support risk, financial, and contractual processes
Represent the business at industry events and exhibitions
About You
4-7 years' experience in a sales or technical-commercial role
Strong background in intralogistics, automation, or material handling systems
Experience with pallet-based and/or tote-based automation solutions
Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
Commercially focused and results driven
Preferred:
Degree in Mechanical, Electrotechnical, or related engineering discipline
