What will you be doing?
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sales strategies, training team members, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team targets. Provide guidance, support, and ongoing feedback to enhance performance and professional development.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets. Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
Performance Management: Monitor team performance closely, analyse sales data, and identify areas for improvement. Take proactive measures to address performance issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
Training and Development: Conduct regular 121 sessions to equip team members with product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
Sales Forecasting: Collaborate with the management team to develop accurate sales forecasts and projections. Monitor sales pipeline, track progress against targets, and provide regular updates on sales performance.
Business Development: Identifying new sales opportunities in directly managed portfolio and through the team. Leading by example on your own opportunities and showcasing how to run successful sales cycles for members of the team.
Department Collaboration: Nurturing and contributing to positive collaboration between departments. Demonstrating how to successfully work in harmony with other internal business units to provide a high standard of customer experience. Engaging members from the Marketing, Solutions, Managed Services, Technical Services and vCISO teams to provide a comprehensive service to customers and truly acting as an extension of their team.
Leadership Integration: Integrating with the broader Saepio leadership team and delivering unified clear messaging to colleagues around strategy and business objectives.
Customer Profiling: Having a good understanding of Saepio's ideal customer profiles and guiding the team on what businesses to prospect.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a proactive and career-driven individual with:
Proven track record of success in sales roles, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in sales.
A strong leadership skill with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Solid understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with team members and customers.
A team player - from sales to technical services, the best outcomes are a joint effort. Lead by example through being a successful player manager.
