Job Description

Queen's Lane Consultants is hiring a Sales Manager to lead and scale its outbound sales operation during a period of strong growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys building structure, developing people, and driving performance through data and process. You'll take ownership of an established outbound function and be responsible for turning it into a high-performing, scalable sales engine.

While you won't be expected to be on the phones day-to-day, this role is close to the detail: coaching calls, refining scripts, analysing performance, and setting the standard for how outbound sales is done across the business.

What you'll be doing



Lead, manage and develop an outbound sales team (currently c.6, with planned growth over the next year) Introduce clear targets, KPIs and performance management frameworks Improve conversion rates and lead quality through better scripting, training and call strategy Build and maintain robust reporting across activity, pipeline and outcomes Own outbound sales processes end-to-end, continuously refining how the team operates Work closely with senior leadership on revenue planning and growth strategy Help shape the future structure of the sales function, with scope to grow into a senior leadership role

What success looks like in the first year



A clearly managed, well-trained and motivated outbound team Consistent reporting and visibility over performance and pipeline Meaningful uplift in outbound conversion and revenue contribution A sales operation that is scalable, repeatable and data-driven Headcount growth delivered without loss of quality or control
About you

Essential:



Experience leading outbound or high-volume B2B sales teams Strong commercial and analytical mindset - comfortable living in data Confident using CRMs (HubSpot preferred) and Excel for reporting and analysis Able to coach, challenge and develop salespeople effectively Comfortable operating in a consultative sales environment London-based and able to attend the office regularly

Desirable:



Experience in consultancy, professional services or complex B2B sales Exposure to scaling teams in a fast-growing business Understanding of wider GTM or marketing strategy

Package & progression



Competitive base salary (circa 55k-75k depending on experience) Performance-linked bonus with meaningful upside No equity at present, but clear progression and long-term opportunity Defined pathway towards a Head of Sales role as the business grows
