About the Role



We're looking for an experienced

Sales Manager

to lead and develop our telesales team. This is a hands-on, office-based role where you'll manage your own customer base as well as coach, motivate, and support the team to grow sales into retail and trade customers.

You'll work closely with the Sales Director to deliver sales strategies, monitor performance, and help us expand our reach across the UK retail and trade sector.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and coach the telesales team to achieve and exceed targets. Develop and implement sales plans for independent and multi-site retailers. Build strong relationships with key trade and retail customers. Monitor KPIs such as call volumes, orders placed, and new accounts opened. Work with marketing to plan seasonal promotions. Analyse sales performance and prepare weekly and monthly reports. Liaise with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure smooth operations.

Skills & Experience



Proven

B2B sales

experience (tools, hardware, or related industry preferred). Previous experience

leading or coaching

a sales team. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Confident with

CRM systems

. Strong organisational and data analysis skills. A proactive, positive, and commercially focused attitude.
