Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities through outbound calls, networking, and targeted prospecting.
Focus on
developing relationships within the education sector (universities and colleges)
, ensuring solutions align with academic and institutional needs.
Manage inbound inquiries and provide expert consultation on AV and IT products, with a strong emphasis on classroom and campus solutions.
Handle the full sales cycle--from prospecting and consultation to closing deals and providing post-sale support.
Consistently make daily sales calls and outreach, maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Upsell and cross-sell AV products, software, and services to maximise revenue.
Build strong client relationships for repeat business and long-term satisfaction.
Maintain CRM records to track opportunities, interactions, and performance.
Stay current with product updates, pricing changes, and industry trends.
Provide excellent after-sales service, assisting clients with queries, technical considerations, and solution optimisation.
Required Skills & Experience
AV industry background with a focus on education (universities and colleges)
, or strong familiarity with Audio Visual / IT products.
Proven B2B/B2C sales experience with a consultative, solution-based approach.
Confident in outbound calling, lead generation, and maintaining consistent phone-based communication.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong ability to explain technical products in a clear, customer-friendly way.
Experience using CRM software to manage a sales pipeline.
Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Technical understanding of AV products and installation factors is an advantage.
Compensation & Benefits
13.50 - 15.00 per hour
, depending on experience.
