Primary Purpose of the role :
To achieve the sales and market share for the company through the management of the sales team, both field base telesales and Ecommerce, through effective leadership and management. In addition, this role will have business development responsibilities for select key accounts and to seek out and open new business.

Core responsibilities
Sales & Strategy
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, motivate, and manage the UK and UAE sales teams.
Conduct field visits with team members to gather market intelligence and support development.
Key Account Management & Business Development
Directly manage key accounts and build long-term relationships.
Prospect, negotiate, and onboard new customers and partners.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Market & Brand Development
Analyse market trends and competitor activities to shape strategy.
Identify new brands for potential acquisition and contribute to the brand onboarding process.
Plan and implement monthly promotional programmes to drive sales.
Support volume acquisition through price realignment where appropriate.
Budget & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Manage sales and marketing fixed costs within agreed budgets.
Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to align initiatives.
Contribute to monthly management meetings with insights and proposals.
Customer Experience & Issue Resolution
Resolve customer issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Set team targets, monitor progress, and drive performance.
Lead weekly sales meetings and provide structured guidance.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts and performance reports.
Skills & Experience Required
FMCG sales experience (essential)
Strong communication, analytical, and numeracy skills
Proven track record of meeting targets and working to tight deadlines
Experience managing and developing a sales team
Ability to influence, negotiate, and overcome objections
Results-driven, proactive, and goal-oriented
