Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organisational targets
Lead, motivate, and supervise the sales team to ensure high performance and professional development
Manage key client relationships and identify new business opportunities
Oversee merchandising activities to optimise product presentation and maximise sales potential
Organise and coordinate sales meetings, training sessions, and promotional events
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning
Maintain accurate administrative records related to sales performance, forecasts, and budgets
Ensure excellent phone etiquette and communication with clients, partners, and internal teams
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns that enhance brand visibility
Skills
Motor Trade Experience
Proven management experience in sales environments, including supervising teams and managing staff schedules
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous
Demonstrated success in sales management, including achieving targets and developing client relationships
Proficiency in merchandising techniques and understanding of retail management principles
Effective time management skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently
Administrative experience with proficiency in maintaining detailed records and reports
Professional phone etiquette combined with strong interpersonal skills
