Salary:

30,000 - 35,000 basic (DOE)

OTE:

70,000+ through bonus & commission

The Role



As Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue across retail, trade, and commercial channels. This is a dual internal and external sales role, combining warm inbound retail enquiries with proactive field-based selling and relationship development.

Alongside converting high-quality retail leads, you will be responsible for building and growing a sustainable trade and commercial client base, working with builders, developers, landlords, contractors, and commercial property owners. This role offers genuine autonomy and the opportunity to shape long-term commercial growth while delivering strong short-term sales performance.

You will work closely with the wider sales and operations teams and report directly to the Managing Director.

Key ResponsibilitiesRetail & Consumer Sales



Manage inbound retail enquiries generated through marketing campaigns. Visit customers in their homes to provide consultations, recommendations, and quotations. Convert warm leads into sales through excellent follow-up and relationship building. Deliver a smooth, professional customer journey from initial enquiry through to sale.
Trade & Commercial Sales Development

Proactively identify and develop relationships with builders, developers, contractors, landlords, and commercial clients. Build and manage a pipeline of repeat trade and commercial business, focused on long-term partnerships. Act as the main point of contact for trade and commercial accounts. Attend site visits, networking events, and industry meetings to grow Ryburne's commercial presence. Prepare and manage commercial quotations and tenders, working closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and margin control.

Sales Management & Performance



Provide tailored product solutions across uPVC, composite, aluminium, conservatories, and orangeries. Generate accurate quotes and manage follow-ups to close sales. Maintain accurate records of all activity using the CRM system. Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, and performance against targets. Contribute to improving and streamlining the sales process across all channels. Meet and exceed agreed retail and commercial sales targets.

What We're Looking For



Proven experience in a sales-focused role, ideally within home improvement, construction, or a related sector. Experience selling into trade, commercial, or B2B environments, alongside retail/consumer sales. Confident engaging with a wide range of customers -- from homeowners to commercial decision-makers. A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong relationship-building skills. Excellent communication and negotiation ability. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously. Experience using CRM systems (Evolution experience desirable but not essential). Full UK driving licence.
Product knowledge of windows, doors, and glazing systems is desirable, but full training will be provided.
