We are Ribble Farm, a thriving business with over 50 years of history based in Longridge just off the M6. We supply over 3000 products to a fantastic customer base that includes high end restaurants, hotels, schools, arenas and large sporting clubs. Our coverage spans across the north of England with pockets in the south.
We work with a number of local and international suppliers in order to make sure we source the finest products on the market, from basic vegetables and dry goods up to the most exotic ingredients for our customers dishes'. Once received, they make their way through our multi-temperature supply chain to ensure the customer is receiving the highest quality of product available.
The Role
This is a 360 sales role, available due to an internal restructure.
Key Responsibilities
Management of an existing portfolio, including day to day assistance and cross selling.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and drive business growth.
Monitor performance metrics and report on sales performance to senior management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer service teams to optimize the customer experience.
Experience Requirements:
We would consider either an experienced Sales Manager or a Chef looking to move into the supply side of the industry and would be trained.
Knowledge of the food industry is highly desirable given the breadth & depth of not just the products we supply, but the variations/varieties of them.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
