Sales & Marketing Director

London, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

To lead the commercial engine of Unity Advisory -- shaping and executing a go-to-market strategy that quickly attracts the right clients, scales our impact and builds an iconic brand that redefines the category of advisory-as-a-platform.

Responsibilities

Build a revenue-first marketing engine: Own and execute the marketing strategy that directly fuels our pipeline growth -- from first impression to closed deal. Map every stage of the buyer journey and design campaigns that move prospects forward with speed and intent. Help us to recruit our Ideal Client Profile clients for the journey. Bridge sales and marketing: Work hand-in-glove with service line leaders to align on targeting, qualification, lead handover, and pipeline acceleration. Treat lead-flow like a product, and optimise it relentlessly. Maximise ROI: Manage the marketing budget and external agency relationships with a CFO mindset. Every pound spent should move the dial. Create content that converts: Lead the development of high-impact content -- from thought leadership to sales enablement -- that resonates with CFOs, COOs and transformation leaders. Specifically, help us to redefine the professional services category. Shape the Unity brand: Own corporate communications and media strategy to build a challenger presence in the advisory space. Be the "go-to" for journalists, influencers, and market voices. Run the digital storefront: Be the custodian of Unity's website, LinkedIn presence, and social footprint -- ensuring every channel converts, informs, and differentiates. For example, define our LLM-optimisation strategy in addition to traditional SEO activities. Own internal comms: Work with leadership and function heads to run internal communications and help build a culture aligned with our external promise. Guard the brand: Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints, channels, decks, and campaigns -- with clarity, simplicity, and impact. Prove what works: Measure, report, and optimise every campaign and tactic. Use data to double down or kill fast. Turn client feedback into fuel: Implement always-on, tech-enabled feedback loops to listen, learn, and act. Champion AI-powered sales enablement: Lead the rollout of AI-powered campaigns, prospecting, and pipeline tooling. Improve forecast accuracy, drive cross-sell/upsell, and make the commercial engine smarter. Be a connector: Build strong cross-functional relationships with delivery, product, and leadership. Be as comfortable in a boardroom as in a browser tab.

Qualifications

7+ years in commercial marketing and sales-aligned leadership roles, ideally in professional services, SaaS, or platform businesses. Tech-native, data-driven: proficient in AI sales and marketing tools, CRM platforms, marketing ops, website performance and campaign analytics Proven track record of designing and executing client targeting strategies that drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth Deep experience with multi-channel campaigns across content, digital, social and field marketing -- with a sharp sense for what works and what doesn't Skilled at campaign orchestration and funnel performance, not just awareness-building Strong communicator and leader: able to inspire cross-functional teams and external partners in high-speed environments Familiar with PR, media engagement, and brand storytelling in B2B markets: experience managing agencies, budgets, and teams with high standards and correspondingly high returns Comfortable building from scratch and iterating fast -- this is a builder role, not a maintainer role Hands-on, energetic, and intellectually curious -- with a commercial mindset and zero interest in waiting around for permission. A self-starter, proactive, team player who thinks ahead.

Work Environment

A truly hybrid and flexible working environment. We offer the opportunity to be at the forefront of AI-driven advisory services. You'll be working on cutting-edge projects and encouraged to deploy the latest analytical tools and approaches.
