Sales & Marketing Director
Location: Melton
Salary: Competitive Salary DOE
Are you a driven, charismatic and strategic sales leader? Then this could be for you! Origin Pharmaceutical Packaging are Pharma Packaging specialists who facilitate their clients success through a complete offering from design through product development, regulatory approval, testing, production, and managed supply.
As they continue to grow, they want to add to their senior leadership team with this important hire who will be involved in their three sales channels as well as their UK, European and International Markets.

  • Working across several markets including The UK, Europe & Internationally.
  • Driving through a strategic plan that contribute directly Origins revenue targets
  • Leading an already successful commercial function alongside an experience Senior Leadership Team
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Sales and Marketing Team Management
  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue targets.
  • Assess KPI's and implement change where required
  • Identify new business opportunities and key client partnerships.
  • Oversee key account management and client relationship strategies.
  • Ensure collaboration with other teams including marketing, operations and finance to ensure strategic alignment
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales and marketing personnel.
  • Conduct performance reviews and set individual targets.
  • Manage a small marketing function to ensure alignment with sales activity
Strategic planning
  • Work alongside Senior Stakeholders to develop and implement the overall sales and marketing strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Set long-term and short-term sales and marketing objectives.
  • Sales plan around creating real partnerships with key accounts for re-curing revenue
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and threats.
  • Create and manage sales and marketing budgets.
Marketing
  • Ensuring consistent messaging goes out to targeted customer channels
  • Lead product launches, promotions, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Making decisions from marketing data/metrics
  • Dictating marketing budgets for the team in each area (Digital, Social, PR etc.)
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Generate regular reports on sales and marketing metrics for executive leadership.
  • Use CRM and analytics tools to track lead generation, pipeline development, and conversion rates.
  • Adjust strategies based on performance data and market changes.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Strategic sales and product experience
  • Developed new products and markets (understanding sales cycles and international experience would be advantageous)
  • Experience leading, developing, and coaching a team at a senior level
  • Managed or worked closely with marketing and other functions to ensure full alignment with business strategy & goals
  • Commercially astute and influenced at board/C suite level
  • This would suit a high energy/ charismatic individual who wants to contribute to rapid growth and potential sale down the line.
