About the Sales & Marketing Executive Role:



This is a key role, with lots of exposure to new customers and internal teams. You will be responsible for generating new business leads and qualifying new leads as they come in from various sales and marketing activity. You will often be the first person from Prolectric that new prospects will speak to.

You will become an expert in our technology - using your sales experience, product knowledge and excellent communication skills to hunt new leads, demonstrate that you understand the person's requirements and can advise the best solution for them.

Your role will be key to helping the company to build a stronger sales funnel, by sourcing quality new leads.

As our Sales & Marketing specialist, you will be working as part of our well established Marketing team and will be a key bridge between marketing and sales. You will understand the latest marketing campaigns, help to promote these to external and internal audiences and identify leads generated by these campaigns. This role reports to the Head of Marketing and is full time based out of our Clevedon office.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:



Identify and qualify potential customers

-

that align with Prolectric's target audience. Generate new leads - by engaging with potential new customers via outbound cold calls, social media, email and networking. Generate new sales leads - by following up on leads generated by other divisions of the sales/marketing effort. Generate new leads - by identifying potential sources of leads from our existing customer database (e.g. lapsed accounts, opportunities for cross / up sell) Qualify and score leads - ensuring that they pass required qualification criteria to progress further. Collaborate with Regional Sales Mangers- to handover qualified leads effectively for further development and conversion to live business opportunities. Setup initial appointments / meetings where necessary.

You will need to:



Have experience in nurturing leads - engaging with them, answering questions, building relationships and moving them closer to conversion. Maintain an awareness of current advertising & marketing campaigns, new launches and promotions. Keep up to date with the features of our products and those of our competitors. Use CRM software to manage, maintain and improve the database of prospects. Maintain a log of which prospects have been contacted, the outcome of each interaction and schedule any necessary follow ups. Provide clear & accurate briefing notes for the regional sales managers when handing over leads. Provide regular updates & feedback to the wider team - including various standard and ad-hoc reporting (e.g. the number of leads coming in, the number qualified, highlights, points of interest etc). Work proactively towards achieving and exceeding monthly KPI's. Follow up with lapsed leads to get their feedback and communicate this to the wider team. Support additional initiatives and projects as needed to contribute to business growth

Skills, knowledge and experience:



Proven track record in lead generation, working towards and achieving KPI's. Able to demonstrate an ability to grow and develop the customer base. Excellent external communication skills with an ability to nurture leads and develop relationships with potential customers. Confident presentation skills. Ability to report against key performance indicators and provide insightful commentary on outcomes. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work. Strong commercial acumen, with an ability to think strategically and contribute ideas relating to sales, marketing and lead generation. Strong level of numeracy, totally comfortable using a PC for communication, planning, forecasting, and presenting. Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience using CRM systems to manage leads and contacts is desirable.

Pay: 27,000.00 per year
