We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales & Marketing Executive to join this Livery Company in the City of London for the Communications and Content Industries, based within the beautiful Grade I listed ancient monument near to St Paul's Cathedral.

Our client is a Livery Company in the City of London for the Communications and Content Industries. Built in 1673, it has a long history as a successful, commercial venue which hosts dinners, meetings, fashion show, conferences, and other events. Their members work in or supply the paper, print, publishing, packaging, newspaper, broadcasting and online media industries.
About the role
As Sales & Marketing Executive you will assist the Head of Sales and Events in selling, planning and co-ordinating commercial events and provide marketing support to Membership Services of the Company. Your responsibilities will include:

• Responding in a timely manner to sales enquiries
• Carry out client show rounds / site visits
• End to end ownership of event planning and delivery with overall account responsibility
• Ensure bookings system (Priava) is up to date and captures all relevant information to produce accurate function sheets
• Understand diary and yield management to maximise sales at all opportunities
• Conduct post event, follow up research with the client with the aim of securing repeat business
• Work closely with the resident caterer overseeing client catering requirements to ensure consistently high standards
• Liaise with caterer and hall team to ensure that all rooms are serviced and set up ready to the client's specifications
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and pricing
• Assist the Head of Sales and Events with marketing activities where required including but not limited to attending networking events and exhibitions to actively promote the Company
• Provide website and social media support to the Company
• Support the Company with marketing skills on the website and social media campaigns
• Booking and co-ordinating tours of the Hall and administrate the Public Access Committee
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Head of Sales and Marketing

About you
To be successful for the role of Sales & Marketing Executive you must be / have:

• Previous sales experience, ideally from the hospitality and events industry
• Exceptional communication ability
• Excellent organisational and time management skills

About the hours & rewards
For the role of Sales & Marketing Executive, there is an excellent salary on offer of 32,500 to 35,000 per annum, plus performance related bonus.
