To promote our range of fuel tanks, fire-fighting vehicles and equipment into municipal, aviation, military and industrial fire and rescue services.
The role is remote, home or office based, covering the whole of the Island of Ireland.
To work alongside our existing staff members including the current Business Development Manager for Ireland and to explore and develop fuel tank sales and fire equipment sales in the areas of opportunity to aviation and industrial market sectors primarily for vehicle equipment sales and rental, and to explore opportunities within the local authority fire and rescue sectors, based around our current activities and future growth opportunities.
You will proactively develop relationships with new and existing clients, along with promoting our products, and their technical specifications and features.
To develop our customer portfolio and driving the expansion of our customer base. It builds on our continuing process of expansion and achievement of business objectives to become the leading industry player in Ireland and develop our reputation and standing in the marketplace for providing high quality customer service with additional products to complement the Terberg products including a range of trailers.
Responsiblities:
Increase and develop our Fuel Tank division within the business
To explore new additional product lines for the fuel tank division
Maintain and develop 'The Fuel Tank' website
Drive the business forward to maximise fire vehicle and equipment sales and rental profits, as well as customer satisfaction.
Ensuring that the sales process is followed at all times to maximise sales opportunities.
Maximise customer satisfaction by ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.
Actively promote and sell the complete product portfolio including new and used vehicles, equipment and ancillary services.
To develop untouched grass root business sectors.
Achieve targets for capital sales, service agreements, repair and maintenance contracts etc.
Develop a solutions-driven approach, which positively impacts on the customer experience.
Develop and strengthen relationships with current key customers ie, Contractors, Contract Hire Companies, service providers and end-line users.
Project manage queries/modification campaigns in the field in conjunction with the After Sales Department.
Company-supplied equipment is to be kept secure at all times and used in line with policy and legal legislation.
To work with all departments, particularly with projects that are being explored or implemented.
Undertake any other duties consistent with the purpose of this job or to support the needs of the business.

Qualifications and experience required:
Proven business development sales experience.
Experience in succeeding in a competitive marketplace.
Experience of local authority tender process.
Clean UK driving licence
Salary is dependant on experience.
