Great opportunity to join our Team as

Sales Office Supervisor!





You will be commercially focused, able to supervise, motivate, train and develop the Sales Office Administrators in continually analysing sales and inventory levels maximising on all sales opportunities. This role will also deputise and support the Commercial Manager, to ensure monthly sales and stock targets are achieved and orders are released to pick on time and in full, in line with the sales orderbook requirements.

Key Responsibilities of Sales Office Supervisor (including but not limited to):

Manage and motivate Sales Office Administrators to exceed targets, following Equip values; including recruitment, induction, objective setting, conduct regular check-ins and annual reviews, and oversee training & development plans Collaborate with Commercial Manager and stock control to meet weekly sales and stock targets Lead weekly team huddles for updates and absence cover, and deputise for the Commercial Manager Support the Commercial Manager and department head with IT/ERP rollouts and efficiency improvement projects Review and update SOPs for optimal efficiency Monitor stock across UK and EU distribution centres; maximize usage Review weekly performance reports to ensure targets are met Manage key customer orderbooks, including:

Processing orders, invoicing, credits, and dispatch


Identifying underperforming items and recommending cancellations


Communicating order status and delays promptly

Coordinate bi-annual forward order confirmations to meet deadlines Build strong relationships with sales teams, lead stock reviews in weekly CS meetings Oversee orders to our 3PL; ensure SLA compliance and escalate issues Manage "Pickup" and booked collections with 3PL; work with sales to improve performance Distribute seasonal SKU files to 3PL; ensure accurate product setup in ERP system Coordinate with 3PL customs team in Rotterdam for smooth inbound processes; resolve issues with customs and freight forwarders Provide annual/quarterly outbound forecasts to our 3PL; monitor and adjust plans Deliver seasonal SKU-level forecasts to our 3PL in Rotterdam; ensure correct product positioning for launches Track daily performance of 3PL; ensure SLA adherence for picking and shipping Review aged inventory; communicate clearance needs and report results Investigate any delivery issues with CS team and 3PL; implement preventive measures To undertake/perform other duties associated with this role, as requested by line manager

you must have:

Experience of working in a sales office with knowledge of wholesale of goods to domestic/International customer base Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and people effectively, with a high level of attention to detail with a positive approach to problem solving Excellent communication skills at all levels IT literate with sound understanding of MS Office applications (Excel and Navision, or similar order processing system) A desire to take on new challenges and improve current ways of working Approachable and confident to build a professional rapport with customers and direct reports, striving for excellent performance by motivating a team while proactively nurturing positivity Ability to understand customer needs whilst balancing their requirements with that of Equip, with a commitment to outstanding customer service Willingness to take ownership and responsibility to drive results, with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines Strong, commercial fact-based decision maker with ability to make decisions in difficult circumstances Previous experience of supervising teams and the ability to delegate Current full driving licence
