We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Sales Order Processor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and promptly, contributing to overall customer satisfaction. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Accurately enter and process customer orders into the system
Verify order details, including pricing, quantities, and delivery information
Communicate with customers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders in a professional manner
Maintain accurate records of all orders processed and follow up on outstanding orders
Collaborate with other departments to enhance order fulfilment processes
Requirements
Previous experience in order processing or a similar administrative role is preferred
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Proficient in using computer systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Familiarity with order processing systems (Deco Network) is an advantage
