As a Sales Professional, you will be responsible for driving business development initiatives and managing territory sales effectively.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and cold calling.
Manage existing accounts while fostering strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
Conduct product demos and provide technical sales support to potential clients.
Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data.
Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with promotional efforts.
Negotiate contracts and close deals while upselling additional products or services as appropriate.
Maintain thorough knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Participate in regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Requirements
Proven experience in outside sales, inside sales, or retail sales; B2B experience is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of account management principles and territory management strategies.
Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce is essential for tracking customer interactions.
Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to analyze data for informed decision-making.
Demonstrated success in lead generation and direct sales initiatives.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
Knowledge of marketing strategies related to technology sales is a plus.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for this role.
