Sales Progression Executive

Shirley, West Midlands, United Kingdom

Job Description

About Us
We're a leading independent estate agency and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and results for our clients: accurate advice, elite marketing and an outstanding team. We are committed to helping homeowners and buyers achieve their goals smoothly, with professionalism and integrity.
Why Work For Us?
When you join, you'll become part of a passionate, award-winning team that values integrity, innovation and genuine care for our clients offering you the support, growth and recognition you deserve in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.
Role Overview
As a Sales Progression Executive at our Shirley branch, you will play a vital role in ensuring that sales move seamlessly from offer to completion. You will work closely with sales negotiators, clients, solicitors, mortgage brokers and other stakeholders to reduce delays, prevent fall-throughs and deliver a high-quality experience for all parties. The successful candidate will be motivated, highly organised, comfortable working under pressure and committed to providing first-class customer service.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the progression of property sales once offers have been accepted: tracking milestones, liaising with legal, finance and client contacts and maintaining a clear internal log of status.
  • Maintain proactive communication with vendors, purchasers and internal teams: updating on key stages, chasing paperwork and managing expectations.
  • Identify and anticipate potential issues in the chain (legal, mortgage, survey, delays) and flag them early, working with the branch team and external partners to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure all required documentation is collected, verified and stored correctly in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as chain length, fall-through rate, time to exchange and time to completion; propose improvements to streamline processes.
  • Support the branch sales team by providing regular updates on progress, assisting with internal handovers and ensuring information is accurate and timely.
  • Build strong relationships with external contacts (solicitors, conveyancers, mortgage brokers, inspectors) to assist smooth progression and enhance the company's reputation.
  • Actively contribute to the general branch team environment: participating in branch meetings, sharing insights, and helping maintain a customer-centric culture.
Person Specification - Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in property sales, estate agency or conveyancing support preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases concurrently and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills - professionally dealing with vendors, buyers, solicitors and internal staff.
  • Problem-solving mindset: able to foresee issues, propose solutions and follow through.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy - especially with documentation and compliance.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and experience with CRM or property management systems desirable.
  • Customer-first attitude and alignment with Arden Estates' commitment to excellent service.
  • Resilient under pressure, able to adapt and maintain positivity in a fast-moving environment.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary and performance-related bonus or incentive scheme.
  • Opportunity for career progression within a growing estate-agency business.
  • A supportive branch team, strong brand reputation and proven processes to help achieve success.
  • Training and development support to further your property-industry expertise.
  • Friendly, dynamic working environment in our Shirley branch.
