Purpose



Fixed Term Contract - Up to 12 months




The purpose of the role is to deliver sales targets through leading and managing the progress of sales from reservation through to successful completion. The role requires the efficient and effective progression of the sales pipeline, team leadership, providing excellent customer service and developing strong relationships with stakeholders.





Key Responsibilities



Driving and managing the sales progression process for various tenure options, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and processed efficiently and in line with current legislative requirements. Communicating business targets and objectives to the Sales Progression team. Manage and update accurate CRM records and undertake conveyancing administration activities. Collaboration with senior stakeholders, various external parties, and internal teams to ensure cohesive and integrated sales progression efforts. Preparation and communication of forecasts and reports to senior stakeholders. Track and analyse process performance, providing recommendation for improvement if identified. Responsible for the performance management of the Sales Progressor(s) undertaking timely assessments, providing regular feedback, and supporting individual(s) to develop through relevant training, mentoring and support. Building and growing the team through appropriate recruitment, onboarding and induction delivering excellent colleague experience and setting new recruits up for success. Be a role model to others for growing and developing yourself, ensuring you attend appropriate induction and ongoing training to maintain and develop your skills and knowledge of industry trends.

Sales & Marketing Operations team Sales leads across McCarthy Stone External suppliers and third parties in conveyancing process Marketing team

Knowledge & Experience



Solid experience working in a customer service centric environment. GCSE English and Mathematics grades C and above. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales progression or conveyancing related role. Knowledge and experience of the conveyancing process, negotiating with stakeholders, property appraisals and part exchange process. Demonstrable experience in leading, managing and motivating a team, with sharp focus on delivery of targets. Proficiency in business IT (MS Word, Excel) and willing to learn new software tools. Experience using Salesforce, or similar CRM system, adhering to process and compliance. Experience of the estate agency or property industry would be advantageous.
