We are looking for a permanent part-time Sales and Project Assistant to work in our small ecological consultancy business. This role will be based in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
The position will be Monday to Friday 9:30am - 1:30pm, and a combination of working in the office and from home in a hybrid arrangement. You will be supporting our Sales Department by managing the communications for the team, including responding to clients, liaising with subconsultants, ecologists and other third parties to keep projects moving effectively.
Knowledge of UK planning law, ecology, and the construction industry are particularly desirable. A positive work attitude and ability to adapt to variable tasks throughout the working day are essential.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of sales and projects by assisting with various administrative tasks and facilitating communication among team members and clients. Duties
Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of sales and project activities.
Maintain project and sales documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible.
Support the Sales and Project Manager in tracking sales and project progress and deadlines.
Communicate effectively with team members, clients and consultants/other third parties to provide updates and gather information.
Organise sales and project-related materials, resources, and logistics as needed.
Assist in the identification of potential risks or issues that may impact project timelines.
Skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in documentation and reporting.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
Previous experience in a similar role or familiarity with project management and ecological principles is advantageous but not essential.
