Job Description

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Sales Representative will be responsible for maximising existing business and developing new business in the sales area.
The Role:

To deliver ambitious growth strategies across the sales area to increase feed sales to new and existing customers;
Provide customers with technical advice and support on ruminant nutrition, diet formulation and feeding practice to maximise milk production and live weight gain;
Increase feed sales and market share within the sales territory and maximise new business development opportunities;
Liaise with sales and technical team to assist in the development of a product range to best suit the feeding requirements of customers within the territory;
Understanding farmer's needs and introducing suitable products and services.

The Person:

Possess sound knowledge of and an interest in the agri food industry;
Previous relevant sales experience;
Demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills;
Be IT literate;
Have the ability to work on your own initiative and within a busy team;
Show attention to detail and able to prioritise a busy workload;
Have a Full Driving Licence;
Ideally hold a 3rd level qualification in agriculture or a related discipline;
Ideally have a sound knowledge and experience of ruminant production and nutrition.
