Croston Plumbing & Heating and Designer Radiator Showroom are seeking a vibrant and committed Sales Consultant to add to our growing team. Our new team member will be responsible for driving sales and building relationships with clients and will be rewarded accordingly with excellent bonuses.

Croston Plumbing & Heating is a well-established, family run plumbing and heating company, serving Preston, Wigan, Southport and the surrounding areas. We undertake large bathroom renovations, commercial and domestic plumbing and heating and underfloor heating projects.

Designer Radiator Showroom is a large showroom of Designer Radiator products based in Eccleston Chorley with an e-commerce site supplying products nationally. We supply designer radiator products to local customers and nationwide via our website.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for making sales calls for Designer Radiator Showroom to local businesses to advertise our products, creating relationships, establishing trade partnerships and expanding the business. This role will be based on making a high number of cold calls to businesses, confidence in this area is essential and successful candidates will be rewarded with commission. The ideal candidate will be responsible for attending networking meetings and marketing events with the goal of furthering Croston Plumbing & Heating's reach and securing future projects.

The successful candidate will work full time, Monday - Friday 9-5pm and alternate Saturdays 9-2pm.

Job Role

B2B Sales Calls - expanding the business and creating new partnerships with new clients by making daily cold calls.

Office Assistance - answering the telephone as needed and taking messages for the team.

. Showroom Sales and E-Commerce Admin - assisting in the showroom and helping customers select the right products, assisting the showroom manager with maintaining of the website.

Sales experience is highly favoured as it is the core element of this role. Full product and showroom training will be given to the candidate, but previous sales and B2B sales experience is essential. The role will mainly involve making a high number of cold calls to businesses to advertise our services and create new trade partnerships. Sales experience is highly preferred for this role.

Administrative experience is preferred but not essential, full training will be given to the candidate. Experience handling customer enquiries is helpful for this role.

Experience in customer service, customer facing roles and sales environments is essential for the successful candidate.

Knowledge of plumbing, heating, bathroom renovation and designer radiators is not required but is fantastic if you have it. Full product and industry knowledge training will be given to the successful candidate.

Training and instruction will be supplied for Sales calls and the services both arms of the business offer. The candidate will have access to talking points, promotional materials and showroom training for both arms of the business. Showroom training will be supplied. This will include product knowledge, customer relations, handling enquiries and visitors and sales.

Full training on our admin requirements, our Tradify booking system and use of the telephones, payment terminal and other administrative tools will be supplied.

Salary: 13.50/hr

Commission: 5% of Total Sales Value on all Designer Radiator Showroom sales generated from new trade accounts. 100.00 bonus for any trade account established by the candidate that carries out 5 sales. 2% of Profit Commission for Plumbing projects awarded as a result of relationship built by successful candidate.

Holidays: 28 Days, including Bank Holidays. If normal working days fall on a bank holiday, these days will be taken as holiday.

Requirements



Proven experience in B2B sales or a similar role is preferred. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Demonstrated customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term relationships. Proficient in IT applications relevant to sales processes and reporting. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple accounts simultaneously. A valid driving licence is desirable for client visits.
