Your Tasks

  • Develop and maintain customer accounts in the designated market sector.
  • Liaise with distributors and customers to provide product information, training, and support.
  • Manage sales support activities within agreed budgets.
  • Generate and track sales leads, producing reports as necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal and external agencies for sales support programs.
  • Foster strong customer relations and contribute to their development.
  • Handle customer complaints following the prescribed ISO procedure.
  • Contribute to the communication strategy for the decorative paper products market sector.
  • Provide technical advice when required.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for effective communication regarding products.
  • Represent the company at events, functions, seminars, and business meetings.
  • Assist in the development of product support initiatives and their successful market positioning.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of competitor information.
  • Ensure all sales activities are well-organized and documented.
  • Provide updates for product catalogues, internal and external directories (Intranet, Internet).
  • Attend necessary training courses and meetings to enhance knowledge and skills.
Our Requirements
  • Ideally based in Northern Ireland, you will be travelling across the region with weekly overnight stays.
  • Degree preferred in Business Studies, Marketing or other related discipline but not essential, however a good standard of secondary education is expected.
  • Experience in a customer facing role would be advantageous.
  • An understanding of the furniture, construction or specification sectors would give you an edge over the competition.
  • Good standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and knowledge of databases.
  • Good communicator, with excellent attention to detail, and a passion for getting the job done well.
  • Full UK Driving license.
