We are opening a new Arabic-English bookstore in London and are looking for a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic

Sales Representative

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both

Arabic and English

, with a passion for books, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first attitude.

As the face of our bookstore, you will assist customers, manage book displays, handle sales transactions, and help create a welcoming environment for readers of all ages.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in both Arabic and English Provide book recommendations and product information based on customer interests Handle sales transactions accurately using POS systems Keep shelves stocked, organized, and visually appealing Receive and unpack deliveries, checking for accuracy and quality Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the store at all times Support promotional activities and bookstore events Help manage stock levels and place reorders as needed Respond to phone, email, or in-store inquiries Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and resolve minor issues promptly

Qualifications

Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written) Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service (bookstore experience is a plus) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for books and reading, especially Arabic and English literature Basic computer skills (email, POS systems, inventory software) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Well-organized with attention to detail Positive attitude, friendly personality, and customer-first mindset Flexible with working hours, including weekends or holidays if required Legal right to work in the UK
