Duties
Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, providing knowledgeable recommendations and upselling where appropriate.
Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring that all merchandise is well-displayed and stocked.
Handle customer inquiries via phone and in-person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth checkout experience for customers.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive team environment.
Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.
Support inventory management by assisting with stock replenishment and conducting regular stock checks.
Experience
Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key.
Proficiency in English is required; bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish or other languages, are highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer groups, showcasing excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience in upselling techniques is advantageous, as well as familiarity with time management practices to optimise productivity.
