Role Overview:
Engage is seeking a
Sale Representative
to join our dynamic team. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for managing and converting incoming sales enquiries, providing exceptional customer support, and contributing to the growth of our clients' self storage businesses. You will be required to work from home, and in our Nottingham-based sales team office when required. There may also be occasional work from one of our storage facilities throughout the training period and to visit as new clients come on board.
This role also includes remote facility management responsibilities, including invoicing, debt management, complaint handling, and setting up contracts -- ensuring smooth operational oversight of storage sites and enhancing the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming sales enquiries via phone, email, and chat
Convert leads into customers by recommending appropriate storage solutions
Provide high-quality support for existing customer accounts
Maintain accurate records using CRM systems to track enquiries and follow-ups
Collaborate with the consultancy team to refine sales and service strategies
Remotely manage storage facilities, including:
Generating invoices and handling payments
Managing outstanding accounts and debt follow-up
Handling customer complaints professionally
Setting up customer contracts and ensuring documentation is complete
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales or customer service (call centre experience desirable)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in CRM systems and basic office software
Flexibility in working patterns to support customer and operational needs
Experience in the self storage industry is a plus but not essential
