The Role
We're looking for a
Lead Generation and Sales Consultant
to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who's driven, confident, and enjoys building business relationships. You'll be at the forefront of our business development activity--connecting with business owners and senior management via LinkedIn and other platforms, generating leads, and converting warm enquiries into confirmed sales or booked appointments for our Director.
This role combines online outreach, database marketing, and digital promotion, with scope to grow into a fully remote position once established.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct warm lead outreach and convert enquiries into sales or Director appointments.
Connect with business owners and senior management through LinkedIn and other professional channels.
Promote Razor Consulting's services in line with our brand and values.
Undertake daily searches for public sector and framework tender opportunities relevant to our services.
Carry out cold calling and online research to identify new prospects.
Create and schedule engaging social media content across platforms, with an understanding of SEO principles.
Run targeted marketing and advertising campaigns to specific demographics within our existing database.
Maintain and update our CRM/customer database, ensuring data accuracy and segmentation for marketing.
Report weekly on lead generation performance, pipeline activity, and campaign outcomes.
Person Specification
Essential Skills & Attributes:
Confident and enthusiastic telephone manner.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude and resilience when handling rejection.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Quick learner with the ability to understand Razor Consulting's services and value proposition.
Initiative to proactively source new opportunities beyond direct instructions.
Experience with LinkedIn, CRM systems, and social media platforms.
Basic understanding of SEO and digital advertising.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in B2B sales, marketing, or lead generation.
Knowledge of public sector tendering or framework contracts.
Familiarity with HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar marketing tools.
What We Offer
13.50-15.00 per hour depending on experience.
Commission up to 15% per sale
- average sale value 400+, meaning strong earning potential for top performers.
Part-time hours to start, with the option to increase over time.
Hybrid working (office/remote) with the opportunity to transition to fully remote once established.
